Hangman, Daniel Cole is the second book in this trilogy. Whilst you can read this as a stand-alone book, it does contain references to Ragdoll, intertwining and connecting. To make the most out of this book, I recommend reading Ragdoll first.
So I said in my review of Ragdoll, that it was the best thriller I’ve ever read. Retracting my statement and now naming Hangman as my new favourite. Will probably retract my statement again when the next book comes out. THANKS COLE.
Again, I have absolutely nothing but praise for Daniel Cole. I would genuinely pay a lot of money just to shake his hand (and get gossip about the next book).
So I started this book at night, and lo and behold, was up until 6am reading. Here was my late night review:

The plot:
Hangman is set eighteen months after the Ragdoll murders, where we become re-attached to DCI Baxter and reminded of her blunt yet funny personality. A body is found hanging from Brooklyn Bridge in New York, with the word ‘BAIT’ carved into his chest.
In London, another death with ‘PUPPET’ carved into their chest.
I don’t want to give too much away but booooooooy does this book get sinister. Some chapters are so descriptive and disturbing, I actually found myself gritting my teeth and reading with one eye closed.
Starting with a very teasing epilogue and dramatic first page, I could not put this down, even IF I wanted to. Hangman stressed me out to the MAX. I can honestly feel the frown lines on my head and I am 22.
The last few pages are so satisfyingly pleasing, I wish I could capture all the emotions I felt and relive for EVER.

It’s genuinely so hard to captivate how wonderful this book is.
